Show Altonah Mrs. Ethel Beebe Mrs. Clyde Lambert went to Salt Lake last week to consult a doctor. She returned Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John Powell who have been working at Yellowstone Yellow-stone park, spent several days visiting' Mr. Powell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lott Powell. Glen Mohlman look his mother moth-er to Roosevelt Tuesday for medical med-ical attention. Johnny Smith has the measles the first case reported thus far this fall in Altonah. Mrs. Fay Prows, of Salt Lake, was here several days last week. Art Mohlman, of Salt Lake, returned with his brother. Glen, to help a few days in the Mohlman Mohl-man store at Altamont. Ned Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark, was in the Roosevelt hospital Saturday through Wednesday for treatment treat-ment of a bone infection in his leg. Mrs. Clarence Jones, Clyde Lambert, Wm. E. Clark and Claude Murray attended the Armistice Ar-mistice Day program at Altamont. Alta-mont. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Beebe spent a few days in Ogden last week. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Potts and daughter, of Salt Lake, spent a few days with Mrs. Potts' mother, moth-er, Mrs. Elva Snyder. Word was received Saturday that W. A. Maxfield had suffered suf-fered a stroke while he and Mrs. Maxfield were visiting in Cascade Cas-cade Locks, Oregon with their daughter, Mrs. Bud Besst. They left here on Nov. 4 Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jessen and sons, of Boneta, visited here Saturday. Ken Davis and son, Cal, of Tooele, visited here over the weekend. A number of Altonah people attended the open house at the Mountain Valley creamery in Roosevelt on Nov. 10. Mrs. Mary Bowden and son, Louie, visited Mr. and Mrs. Lee Anderson in Ioka, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden took their daughter, Norita, to Roosevelt Saturday for medical care. A number of young people from here attended the dance at Upalco Friday night sponsored by the Aaronic priesthood and L. D. S. girls. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred spent a portion of last week with relatives in Price. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Clark and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Karren, of Bonanza, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark. Woodward Evans, George Mendenhall and Mr. Ward, of Mt., Emmons were speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Ludvig-son Ludvig-son and family, of Layton, and Mr. and Mrs. Art Powell, of Farmington, were weekend visitors vis-itors at the Lott Powell home. |
