Assisting with the registration scheduled for Thursday is Mrs. Coralee LeCheminant. kindergarten at Jennie P. Stewart Ste-wart Elementary, will also be on hand to meet the children and parents. Registration will be held for children having a birthdate on or before Oct. 3 1 following the program. Parents may also sign up for a morning or afternoon after-noon kindergarten session for their child at that time. Parents should bring their child's birth certificate and completed registration, reg-istration, immunization and physical forms if they wish to register that day. If physicals have not been completed or immunizations are not current, cur-rent, those cards may be turned in later. REGISTRATION will also be held during the summer on Aug. 3 from 9-12. Beginning school is an exciting excit-ing time, but it can be frightening frighten-ing for some children. To help ease the fear. Taylor Elementary Elemen-tary is having a special orientation orienta-tion to introduce next year's kindergarten students to their teacher, school and curriculum. curri-culum. THE MUSICAL program is being prepared by this year's students and w ill be presented on Thursday. May 20. There will be two sessions. 9-1 1 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Creative classroom clas-sroom activities and a tour of the school will follow the one hour program. The theme for this year's orientation is "Animal Crackers." Crack-ers." Parents are invited along with their children. Coralee LeCheminant. kindergarten teacher at Taylor, w ill discuss school readiness and answer parents questions following the program. THE NEW kindergarten teacher, Shauna Johnson, will teach one of the two morning sessions next year. Mrs. LeCheminant will continue to teach both a morning and afternoon after-noon session.
