| Show welfare T T staff attends state meet mee t in salt lake city staff members of the sevier county public welfare department left wednesday for salt lake where they will attend the utah state social welfare conference which will open today in the newhouse hotel and continue through friday and saturday en route to salt lake the group had appointments with dr garland pace of the state mental hospital in provo and with dr H H ramsay of the state training school at american fork they planned to confer with staff officers of these institutions relative to patients who are under the care or the department of public weare welfare f we feel it essential to our work to get a clearer picture of the activities tivi ties and procedure of these public institutions within our state said R T thurber sevier county public welfare director in announcing plans for the trip local welfare workers who will attend the conference besides mr thurber are terrance hansen hanse n maybeth gore jay and elenore sheen child welfare e worker |
