| Show iv elect AAA committees three local units named sevier wayne county groups organize farmer committeemen to direct administration of the AAA farm and range program in their respective spec tive sections of sevier county were elected at meetings held friday evening in richfield salina and monroe as follows richfield taylor nielson of richfield chairman J L despain of venice vice chairman chaiem an john H payne of glenwood committee member monroe james brown of monroe chairman lorin of elsinore vice chairman john A parker of joseph committee member salina B E mattsson of saina chairman raymond mason of aurora vice chairman J arthur christensen of redmond committee member the three committees met saturday evening in the office of the county agricultural agent lew lev mar price and organized as a county group by electing taylor nielson chairman lorin christi ti ansen first vice president and J arthur christensen second vice president the organization is the same as for the soil conservation committee of the past year however this is the first time the committee has been comprised of three community units alternate members were elected for each unit B E mattsson presided at the meeting in salina and was assisted i in arrangements for the election by irvin L warnock and mrs jewel stillman from the office of the county agent at monroe james brown presided and was assisted by lew mar price county agent and miss iris buchanan taylor nielson was in charge of the richfield meeting assisted by mrs laurel hansen only a county committee of three was elected for wayne county it is comprised of george M hunt of bicknell chairman ellis robinson of torrey vice chairman an and d charles durfee of lyman an committee member alternates also were chosen |
