Show 0 clubs membership dr drive e opens budget adopted by southern utah organization every resident of southern utah m may ay be expected to be contacted by walter G lunt field representative senta tive of the associated civic clubs of southern utah within the next few months as he covers all of the 15 counties included in the group on the annual membership drive mr lunt states that response in the communities already visited has been very favorable funds obtained are used largely for advertising ver vcr the scenic and other attractions tr of the southern part of the state in an effort to increase travel and general business the advertising program this year as outlined by reid H gardner of cedar city chairman of the committee includes printing a minimum of scenic folders erection of roadside road side signs newspaper space goodwill good will tours and other items recently all directors and member clubs were requested to submit material for the folders immediately the printing will be ordered this week to carry out the entire program of the association the officers officer have adopted a budget calling for according to president james INT sargent mr air lunt expects to raise the bulk of this amount in the next 60 days he will report on progress at the next meeting of the associated civic clubs which will be held in price on saturday and sunday april 22 and 23 carbon county director directory 7 henry H jones and A E Gib sori sort are making the detailed arrangements the executive board will meet at 10 a m and the open session will start at p in both in the new municipal building A banquet and dance will vill conclude saturdays program |
