| Show THEE PLANNED WARS santa claus to pay usual asua visit program numbers announced its a busy season but santa claus has promised to take time off to attend christmas tree programs in all of the richfield wards and distribute bags of candy and nuts the sunday school officers of the respective wards are sponsoring the christmas tree programs which will be held in the second third and fourth wards wednesday evening december 23 and in first ward thursday evening december 24 officers extend an invitation vi to everyone in their respective spec tive wards the frist ward program will start at 7 thursday in the ward chapel and will be in charge of mrs vern blomquist it will include a reading by miss gwen johnson a duet by jerry blomquist and shirley ence a string trio by frances hunter carolyn poulson and lena peterson a reading by maurine keate a se lection by a girls chorus directed by mrs dan ogden a selection by a quartet and a short christmas play the little lost doll by robin hood james reate keate betty jean ogden ruth nielson edna madsen charlene jensen marjorie blomquist and norse jensen jos ceph eph peterson is superintendent of the sunday school the second ward program which will start at 7 wednesday night in the second ward chapel is in charge of miss carien marien la rien dean bean it will feature musical numbers and a christmas play why the chimes rang the play is being directed by miss ila dastrup the cast includes horace christensen christense n arden jensen barbara sawyer hogarth barton and helen benham wallace is the sunday school superintendent the third ward pro garm which will start at 7 in the third ward chapel will be directed by the sunday school george peterson superintendent and will include the following vocal duet misses fawn and enid roberts reading delmar gardner violin solo carol dean baker two dance numbers pupils of miss dorothy Christo pherson retold story mrs R D buchanan song norma wilson the fourth ward program will be held in the auditorium of the stake tabernacle starting at 7 it will feature christmas carols under direction of mrs if W smith and dance numbers the sunday school martin christensen christense n superintendent is in charge of the program |
