back at her desk in the county clerks office monday mr and mrs airs james P poulson have had as guests this week mr and mrs airs john henry hales and children of bingham and mr air and mrs ivan IA foisey and children of marysvale Marys valc vale mrs airs hale and mrs foisey are daughters of mr air and mrs poulson jack and nick curnow are staying at the home of mr air and mrs arthur beutler this week jack has been ill and consequently they had to discontinue their work a kimberly a few fe w days mesdames parley poulson norman andreason W S greenwood and C J sumner attended the convention of the southern district brict of federated clubs held saturday at parowan carowan Pa rowan dr and mrs airs stanley dark clark and son dick and mrs myron newell of provo spent the weekend here as guests of dr and mrs L A poulson sunday they left for scenic southern utah and st george where mrs airs newell will spend a fortnight the others returned to their homes home s monday mrs dark clark is a sister and I 1 mrs newell the mother of mrs airs poulson mrs airs W C cole who has been here visiting her son in law and daughter mr air and mrs airs marlell christensen and making the acquaintance of her new grandchild expects to leave the last of the week for her home in idaho mrs cole is a former resident of richfield mrs caroline peterson and miss bliss anna hansen representing crystal rebekah lodge and J D sandberg representing the local lodge of odd fellows went to provo to attend the convention of the grand lodge of utah L I 1 0 0 F held there tuesday and wednesday mr and mrs W R horne home of salt lake paid a visit to relatives here the last of the week mrs george nelson mrs george whyte and daughter virginia and mr and mrs asel nelson went to snowflake arizona this week to visit a sister of mrs airs george nelson mrs jessie smith the two sisters have not seen each other for a number of years mr and mrs airs melroy nelson and children bobbie and lois accompanied compa nied by miss bliss molly nelson and miss ruth ramsay spent sunday at fish lake in the list of honor awards made by the U S A C the name of james fillmore son of mr air and mrs A J fillmore appears twice once as an award student for service on the executive committee and once for debating gilbert hutchings of beaver a former teacher in the sevier district schools also appears as an award student in the the livestock judging department misses dora and ruth hansen I 1 daughters of mr and mrs L P hansen who have been teaching school in bingham are expected home the last of the week judge dilworth wooley of the fifth judicial district court and court reporter F L leach are in richfield to sit in cases where judge N J bates is disqualified mrs L R fournier and renee pence fournier left tuesday for tooele thoele to be in attendance at a celebration of the birthday anniversary of mrs fourniers Fou Four miers grandmother miss aliss nial nelson who taught in the high school at brigham city the past term came to richfield to attend the anniversary observance of gloria chapter 0 E S monday evening and to visit her parents mr and mrs airs J H nelson however she returned to the northern part of the state to direct a pageant which will be presented at the annual convention of the state B P W clubs in ogden the last of the week mr and mrs nelson also enjoyed a visit this week from their son rehnon who is employed in nevada miss bliss mildred parks daughter of mr air and mrs J W parks has returned home from oregon and the pacific northwest where she spent the past eight months en route home she visited in california bliss lenna thurber who has been teaching in the bingham schools is expected to come home sunday to spend tho the vacation on with her parents mr a and nd sirs mrs W E thurber Thur her mrs sylvester bean local nurse accompanied mrs H peter christensen and mrs N P christensen of annabella to salt lake wednesday to attend the graduation exercises of the ing school of the salt lake general hospital to be held today miss marva christensen daughter of mrs airs H peter christensen 1 is s among the graduates as is also miss mildred fillmore Fill whose parents recently moved from annabella to milford both girls are graduates of the richfield high school mr air and mrs C R card and mrs L J peterson were salt lake visitors the first of the week arnold jensen is again at his desk in the western union office after having been away a month following his two weeks vacation mr air jensen was asked to take a relief job at bingham which delayed his return mrs airs leona morrison president of f the richfield B P W club I 1 is is in in salt lake this week and will stay until after the state B P W convention to be held saturday and sunday at ogden other richfield girls who are planning to attend the convention are misses ila ea and dorothy dark clark ruby thurber and thelma dastrup and mrs V C childs miss bliss dastrup will take part as a dancer in the pageant to be presented at the convention under direction of miss nial nelson |
