| Show 0 0 REDMOND 1 by special correspondent I 1 0 0 former Re resident buried here news came friday of the death of L ina M brienholt a former fonner citizen of redmond he had been sic sick i k for the past year or so but seriously ill only a few weeks he passed away at his home in salt lake city friday morning and funeral services were held sunday afternoon in the ward the body was brou brought 1 I it to redmond monday and funeral services were held in the redmond meeting house monday afternoon the house was packed to capacity the many floral of felings and the words of consolation showed the steam esteem in which the deceased was held by the people of redmond the fhe choir under the direction of A C Willards cn furnished furni sheI appropriate prop music the speakers were 11 B crandall of salina chas C jensen C al Alic kelsen and bishop orrin peterson Pc terson the opening prayer was offered by president J A christensen and the clodin closing g prayer by elmer niel son sen the grave was dedicated by bishop orrine Orrin petersen L M brienholt was born bom at ephraim in august 1873 while lie was but a child his parents moved to redmond b being eing i among the first settlers in 1890 lie he married miss tient jorgensen he was an active member of the church he spent two years in the he mission field in denmark in the interests of the L D S church the family moved to lark in in 1915 where they lived two years and then moved to salt lake ake city where they have since le sided mr brienholt leaves besides his wife three daughters erna ama arvilla brienholt and mrs florence waldron one son arlean ardean all of salt lake city one sister mrs A A anderson of 1 murray two brothers brother s J C and marion brienholt Brien bolt of redmond mrs annie farnsworth and children Richfield of were guests last week of mrs margaret andersen mother of mrs farnsworth len smith who has been employed at bingham for some time Is s home for a vacation he is visiting his parents mr and mrs C J smith mrs annie brienholt returned from salt lake city sunday e evening v e she had spent the past t ten en days there with her brother in law and sister mr and mrs L al Brien brienholt bolt she assisted mrs L i AT brienholt dr during the serious illness of her husband who passed away last week marion brienholt was also with his brother luring during his illness mr and mrs john henry hales and children of bingham were weekend guests of mrs john S hales mother of john henry W B allred ardale jensen and blair poulsen left friday for idaho where they will shear sheep mrs alice thurston of logan is a house guest of her son frank thurston mrs R D dutcher butcher of salt lake is visiting her sister mrs vernal cleone jensen accompanied peter peterson jr to salt lake city thursday cleone expects to obtain employment in the city 1 wd nd remain there during the summer imer mr and mrs F R jorgensen of midvale were here monday having come to attend the funeral of their brother inlaw i in law L M brienholt mrs andrew Ana andersen ersen of murray was a guest of her sister in law mrs J C brienholt monday and tuesday several members of the redmond ward atten attended ded the 11 M 1 I A contests at rich richfield field friday d ay night they are now nov talking 9 about a life term for von hindenburg but they mean in the german presidential chair well ex king alphonso has one consolation there are a lot of the rest of us who thought we had our castle in Spain rand vand then woke up an indiana boy who was thought to be from a fatal lung disease coughed up a peanut and then got well why cant a lot of our peanut politicians do the same thing |
