| Show B P W club to give prizes for best posters twelve hundred clubs of the country have been invited to participate in a nationwide nation wide nade contest for an official poster symbolizing the progress of business women the national federation of business and professional clubs is sponsoring the contest forty fort y six state federations will ca conduct ndoc t poster contests between november 1 and 30 and the prize winning poster fr from orn each state will be sent to new york city to be judged in the national competition which closes december 10 announcement to this effect has j just been made by miss eva E H hollis ollis salt lake publicity chairman of the utah federation of business and professional clubs 0 utah federation offers a prize of 10 for the best poster submitted while the national award is 50 only students of art schools and the art departments of high schools may compete and no entrant may submit more than one poster the state competition is in charge of miss hollis judges of the contest comprising an artist and a business executive will be announced later announcement of the winner of the national prize with a photograph of the winning poster will appear in the january ry issue of the independent woman official magazine of the national federation of business and professional clubs the poster will be featured during the fourth annual observance of national business week march 8 to 11 14 1 1 1931 |
