| Show duflo 10 TO HIST ff VENICE member of sevier county fair association dies at home friday the venice ward chapel was crowded when funeral services were held there monday afternoon for edward erickson who died at his home friday afternoon as the result of a stroke he be suffered a few plays days previous he had been ill s since ince last april sir mr erickson had been an active director in the sevier county fair association and had be come well known throughout the county from his work in supervising some of the livestock departments part ments resolutions of respect and appreciation by the sevier county fair association signed by the president Eres president ident and john webb web and C W powell jr were vere read at the funeral by dr al markus a member of the association who also continued with a few brief remarks W L warner Ina manager nager of the fair assoria association A W buchanan and clias chas wilson were speakers music consisted of selections by a quartet and a violin solo by irene stewart mrs airs abner cowley acted as accompanist the invocation was offered by A L buchanan and J C wall pronounced the benediction the grave in the venice cemetery was dedicated by sisson hatch edward erickson was born bom may 18 1878 at koosharem Koo sharem and has always been a sevier county resident he is survived by his widow and nine children rilla rhea francis velt gustave cleve edran erickson and mrs lloyd hansen all of ire venice nice mrs airs harvey nielson nelson and edwin erickson of richfield and a stepson step son fred jackson of venice surviving also are his aged mother mrs mary blary C erickson of koosharem Koo sharem and four brothers jos erickson of fayette arlo erickson of koo sharem henry erickson of lehi and john erickson of salt lake cit city y |
