Show 0 I 1 f TORREY 0 1 1 I 1 by special correspondent 0 0 n mrs jamison of salt lake city has been spending a week with her daughter maggie busenbark at grover she left 1 tuesday morning for salt lake C city ity mrs chad cook has been enjoying a few days visit with her mother mrs miller of salina who has been here for a few days three of mrs cooks sisters dorothy mary and amanda and one brother jack were here also they left thursday f for or their respective homes the post office has changed places for the time being mrs mary E perry millet former postmaster has moved it to her assistant and daughter ruby smith smita until a postmaster can be appointed mrs millett expects to leave for southern utah where she will make her home the heavy rain the past month is causing a great deal of commotion among the farmers some of them have been unable to get their first crop of hay up some of it has rotted in the pile the storms have also kept the road men busy repairing the roads and filling up wash vash outs the irrigation company has been engaged in watching and repairing the ditches that seem to break out now and again mrs myrtle huntsman returned from salt lake city where she underwent an operation on her face the cause was a tooth which had forced its way up into her cheek and caused infection she is getting along well at the present mrs cora heath took suddenly ill sunday but is all right again walter B lee has been engaged at teasdale the past few weeks putting paint on the homes of leland king and george coombs I 1 the small son of alex clark of grover has been ill with blood poisoning in his arm he is better at the present mr and mrs merlin heath of delta and isabell parsons of aurora have been spending a few days at grover visiting mrs dan covington |
