Show Art Center Has Many Xmas Gifts By ENNY de BOER MEYERS This is an invitation to the citizens of Bountiful and Davis County to help their Art Center Cen-ter stay alive! THE BOUNTIFUL Art Center Cen-ter Gift Gallery, located at 2175 S. Main, Bountiful, (adjacent (adja-cent to the Art Center main building) is a permanent, commercial com-mercial venture, designed to keep the Art Center (a nonprofit non-profit organization) afloat after its separation from the University Univer-sity of Utah. The Gift Gallery depends entirely on volunteer help, and on the goodwill of the public. Therefore, the Gift Gallery invites the public to purchase this year's Christmas gifts, as well as birthday, anniversary, graduation, or just for-no-good reason at all gifts at this new business. In fact, the Gift Gallery Gal-lery was welcomed just recently recent-ly into the community of Bountiful Boun-tiful businesses by the Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce; it is definitely definite-ly here, and ready for business. busi-ness. THE QUIET and aesthetically aesthetic-ally pleasing atmosphere of the Gift Gallery and the Bountiful Art Center itself will make shopping an enjoyable experience experi-ence in these last hurried days before Christmas. Featured are works by Merrily Kulmer, Anna Spiess, Norma Fors-berg, Fors-berg, Laura Mehmert, and by Artist of the Month Jan Richins, as well as by other local and nationally known artists. But besides fine arts the Gift Gallery also offers stocking stuffers of all sorts: pottery, crochet, weaving, shells, enamel, woodwork, stuffed animals and yes, we have Cabbage Cab-bage Patch Kids! They are just waiting for a good home! Prices range from $1.50 to $200. Also the Gift Gallery invites in-vites artists to bring in work for display and sale.
