| Show EDUCATION FOR HE enrichment OF COUNTRY LIFE theme has been selected for annual B Y U leadership week education for the enrichment of rural life is the theme selected by the president and deans of brigham young university around which to build the theme for the annual leadership week convention which will be held january 21 to 26 in provo this theme was selected because it is a theme which may well be emphasized in utah where there are no large cities and because this year the state farm bureau convention will be held in conjunction with leadership week accordia according to the officials the following general committee was appointed to arrange tile the details of the program H R merrill acting director of the extension division dr christen chiste n J jensen L 1 dean of the college of app applied ai e 1 s science c I 1 e n ce dr thomas I 1 martin head of the agronomy department dr br william J snow authority on pioneer history and professor C S boyle associate professor of accounting ond nd business administration we aim at arranging a program for the adults of this and surrounding states for our leadership week convention that will assist them in their work in church and civic activities said F S harris president of the institution we want to serve the entire people in this matter we have joined with the state farm bureau in in order that our people may come in and enjoy both conventions at the cost in transportation of one our program will be on as big a scale as ever and in addition the farm bureau expects to have state and national speakers of benoun to assist in the conduct of the week As in 1 the lie t past everything in connection with it h the week will be free |
