NEW COURSE OF STUDY FOR I 1 THE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS superintendent A J ashman attended a meeting of the state course of study commission at the state cap caal tol saturday the committee is is charged with the responsibility of preparing par a and nd publishing the course of study for the elementary junior high and high schools of the state the elementary course of study was completed and published before the opening of school this fall it is the largest course of study yet offered to the teachers of the elementary school and le ie presents the work of many of the best trained elementary teachers and supervisors in the state the committee is now considering the junior high course the meeting gr saturday considered the work in english and modern languages miss stena formerly of sevier district prepared tile the junior high course it was pronounced by the committee an excellent course and with few changes was ordered to be printed next year the committee will consider the course of study in the senior high schools
