our august storms the rain which during the past week has fallen at intervals in different sections of the county lias resulted in a little damage to canals and to a few farms which have been flooded in some cases alfalfa has been damaged but in general the storms have been of great benefit improving the condition of beet fields potatoes pardons gardens pastures and tho the range while the precipitation has varied somewhat in different sections of the county at richfield where it was vas measured by county agent S R roswell boswell it showed for august 2 02 august 6 40 august 7 04 and august 8 04 a total of hal half an inch
