Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received by the Utah Department of Transportation UDOTDPS Building (2nd Floor), 4501 South 2700 West, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84119, until 2 o'clock p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 1984, and at that time publicly opened for construction construc-tion of Concrete Overlay Over-lay in Davis and Salt Lake Counties, the same identified as Federal Fed-eral Air Project No. IR-215-9(66)26. The length of road to be constructed or improved im-proved is 2.831 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately approxi-mately as follows: 148,889 Sq. Yd. of Portland Cement Concrete Con-crete Pavement 11" Thick, 42,9.2 Tons of Untreated Base Course 34" Maximum, Max-imum, 14,814 Tons of Bituminous Surface Mix 34" Maximum. The project is to be completed in 180 working days. Prequalification of bidders is required. The attention of bidders bid-ders is directed to the fact that this Department Depart-ment has been advised by the Wage and Hour Division, U.S. Department Depart-ment of Labor, that contractors engage din highway construction work are required to meet the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Stan-dards Act of 1938, (52 Stat. 1060). This contract is subject sub-ject to all appropriate Federal laws, including includ-ing Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. A current list of minority contractors, suppliers, and equipment equip-ment lessors is available avail-able and will be furnished fur-nished by the Utah Department De-partment of Transportation, Transpor-tation, UDOTDPS Building (1st Floor Civil Rights Offices), upon request. Proposal forms, plans, and specifications specifica-tions are on file in the office of the Utah Department De-partment of Transportation,-Salt Lake City, where they may be reviewed re-viewed by prospective bidders. Specifications, Specifica-tions, proposal forms, and plans may be obtained only at the Department Offices at Salt Lake City, upon application and payment pay-ment of a fee of $70.00. none of which will be refunded. Each bidder must submit a bid bond from an approved surety company on forms provided by the Department; De-partment; or in lieu thereof, cash, certified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5 of the total amount of the bid, made payable pay-able to the Utah Department De-partment of Transportation, Transpor-tation, as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish fur-nish the contract bonds as required. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Any additional information in-formation may be secured se-cured at the office of the Utah Department of Transportation.
