Show Norris-Thacker Jan Norris and Brad Thacker were married Sept. 14 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Norris of Cedar Fort, Utah. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thacker of Bountiful. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the North Seas Restaurant in Bountiful hosted by parents of the groom. A RECEPTION was held in Ced-er Ced-er Valley Ward that evening followed fol-lowed by an open house Sept. 15 in North Bountiful Stake Center. A western theme was carried out and the colors were navy and light blue. The bride wore a full length gown with a sweetheart neck and lace bodice, with a long flowing three tiered lace train. She also wore a wide brimmed lace hat with a flowing veil gathered at the back. SHE CARRIED a silk bouquet of blue roses accented by a large white orchid mounted on a lace fan. Navy and light blue streamers flowed full length. The wedding flowers were designed by the groom's mother. Maid of honor was Lisa Hunt, bridesmaids cousins Sheryl McKendrick, Colleen Wilson, Shauna Reid, Collett Nelson, Judy Stookey and SueAnn Thacker, sister sis-ter of the groom. They wore floor length light blue dresses trimmed in navy ribbon. Flowers were lace fans accented with shades of silk blue azzelas, roses and baby breath. THE MOTHERS wore floor length dresses of slate blue crepe. Corsages were light blue roses and lace ribbon. Best men were brothers of the groom, Kevin Thacker, Lynn Thacker, Shane Thacker, brothers of the bride Kenny Norris and Brad Norris. Fathers and best men wore i ;;; v. : ; J ftJlr v 4 j"X" i i 11 MR. AND MRS. BRAD THACKER navy blue tuxedoes. The groom wore a white long tail tuxedo, white cowboy boots and a double rose boutonniere. THE COUPLE honeymooned in Idaho, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park. They will make their home in Bountiful. The bride attended Lehi High and graduated from Utah Tech Cosmetology School and received a degree in business from Utah Tech of Provo. She is presently employed at U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Recla-mation. THE GROOM graduated from Viewmont High, Snow College, attended Utah Tech of Provo and will further his studies at the University Uni-versity of Utah. He served an LDS Hartford, Connecticut mission. Both were active in high school and NIRA College rodeos. Prenuptial parties were given by Barbara Davis, Joyce Clegg, La-vaun La-vaun Bowden, Beverly Hunt, Barbara Bar-bara Stookey, Eileen Ashley and cousins. |
