opened the program in the morning with prayer then laurine gave a humorous reading next the taylor boys star hoop from loa demonstrated further talent in a trio freshmen will shine 11 they were accompanied by the harmonica and clappers chappers cl appers after this amusing feature algle algie poulson added a contrasting ast lilt hit to the program with her recitation little joe spencer smiths flute solo was as big a surprise to the student body as was hicks taylors request for a surprise talk from the senior clyde smith clyde retaliated talia ted by saying lie he know what lie he would say and then by giving the history of a pair of pants that hicks bought once upon a time hicks taylor the class president made a few diplomatic comments next and after inviting the student body freshman day and further honored st patrick the audience greatly appreciated the beauty of this difficult little play written by W B yeats earls earis hanson as maire bruine was delightful the love making of her husband shawn bruin played by jay Earns earnsteen Ear tsen was not quite so convincing perhaps this is because one sees see so much of the real thing at N I 1 orth north sevier maurceen make an inspection tour according to mr S M jorgenson the school board member of nor north th sevier tho the schools of sevier will be duly inspected next thursday and F friday the purpose of this visit of the school board is to determine ne whether or not it is is necessary to decide upon a building program for sevier the results of this tour will be discussed at board meeting on saturday march 24 and the question will willbe be decided teachers contracts will also be considered at this meeting north sevier is all impatience to hear the outcome of tho the building plans the fate of our gymnasium is still in the balance heres hoping the meeting turns out favorably veil to bo be lifted prom from seniors lives the seniors are diligently remembering and recording the facts concerning their lives in autobiographies these students who are going to make history in america will have this first epoch of their existence and accomplishments recorded in the last issue of the north star the whole student body is waiting tensely jor for this exposition of tho the illustrious lust rious seniors eight grade girls into irish fairies the eighth grade girls represented north sevier at the relief society anniversary celebration on march 17 they danced the irish washerwoman er under the direction of miss van johnstone the girls look much like washerwomen washerwoman washer women they more nearly represented fairies with their special costumes A short green skirt a white waist and a black bodice made up the costume after the dance which won repeated applause the girls donned st patrick caps and little white serving aprons and made exquisite little waitresses such a rare demonstration will certainly bo be in public demand continually in the future d what I 1 Is it mr ernest
