Show ! FAIRVIEW I I By Special Correspondence Funeral services for Feurman Bradv were held April 7th in the North ward chapel. Bishop H. W. Jones presided. Music was by the combined Fairvieww ard choirs with a solo by Raphael Clement; duet, Jesfie L. Young and Stanley Brady, mixed quartet, Mrs. Lewis Peterson and company. Th speakers were Peter Peterson,. Stanley Brady, Peter Sundwall,, Brhop J. R. Graham and Bishop Tones. Prayers were offered by Orin Earker and Ezra Vance. In-'ermrnt In-'ermrnt was in the city cemetery where France Nelson dedicated the grave. Feeurman Brady was bevn in Fairview in 1887, son of Lindsay A. and Rebecca Pritchett B..?dy He received his education Vre In 1907 he married Annie Peterson. They had four children, hree of whom survive. His wito died in 1919. Mr. Brady has lived in Tonopah for the past ten years. Tn 1923 ho married a resident of Tonopah, who survives him. Under the direction of Miss Ruth Ford, the English department of Fairview high school Saturday presented pre-sented "The College Hobo." Sylvan Peterson.son of the late M and Mrs. Andreas Peterson, ' re-tuvued re-tuvued this week from a 27 months mission in the Central States. A welcome home party was given in his honor in the Amusement hall Wednesday evening when the following fol-lowing program was presented: song, congregation; talks, Jessie L. Young and the returned mission ary; quartet, under direction of Marion Tucker; reading, Allie May Carhton. Following the program a dance was given, music for which was furnished by Moon Winks Orchestra. Or-chestra. Mr. and Mrs. A. TJ. Miner have been advised of the birth of a new granddaughter, The little girl is a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Delmar H. Dickson of Heber City. Mrs. Dickson ' was formerly Miss Laurel Miner. Miss Ila Miner was, a weekend vifitor at Provo and Salt Lake. Miss Miner and Miss Maurine See-fy See-fy attended the annual formal dinner din-ner dance of the Fidelas Sorority at Hotel Roberts Saturday evening. The people of Fairview are much interested in the poultry business this year. 145,000 baby chicks and 14 000 babv turkeys have been shipped ship-ped into Fairview this month. Hv-rv.n Hv-rv.n Mower received 45,000; A. U. TT'ner. 4.000 baby chicks and Vern Cox 3.000 turkeys. A few have '"me from Ogden. and some from Manti, but most of them came from California hatcheries. Last vea-vrview vea-vrview received 55,000 baby chicks during the year. |
