Show Winners Named In The Contest Following are the winners in the annuel W. D. Candland Oratorical Contest, to- students of the Mount Pleasant, L. D. S. seminary held Sunday evening at the North ward chapel- first place: Miss Maxie Olson, Mt. Pleasant, "The Story of Ruth-" second, Garn Olson, Spring City "As A Man Thinketh;" third. Miss Margaret Lund, Mt. Pleasant, "The Power of Purity." The prizes $10, $8, and $7, ie-spcctively ie-spcctively to be placed in the North Sanpete Bank, as the beginning ol a bank account for the winners mentioned, were given and presented pre-sented by Senator Candland at the conclusion of the program. .
