Show Pretty Wedding at Gunderson Home One of the most delightful social affairs of the autumn season was enjoyed at the splendid home of Mr. John Gunderson last Saturday Satur-day evening, November 12, 1932. The affair was a wedding reception re-ception given by Mr. Gunderson in honor of the marriage of his only daughter, Shila, to Mr. Mar-lin Mar-lin Larsen of this city. The rooms were beautifully decorated dec-orated with autumn flowers and ferns. An elaborate buffet supper was served in the dining room. I The dining table was centered with a crystal vase of delicate pink and white chrysanthemums and at either end were silver candle sticks holding pink candles. Assisting As-sisting in the dining room were Miss Grace Larsen, Miss Bogus of Union, the Misses Louise and Twila Brotherson and Miss Beth Larsen. The bride was beautifully gowned gown-ed in white embroidered batish. Her bouquet was of bride's roses and butterfly sweet peas. The bride's maids were Miss Alice Seely, Miss Carol Jones and Miss Leone Madsen. They were dressed in pastel shades and wore corsage bouquets of chrysanthemums. Mr. William Tomllnson was best man. Mrs. H. C. Jacobs acted as host- the program. Vocal solos were given by Mrs. Stanley H. Gill, Mr. William Tom-linson, Tom-linson, Mrs. Ray Peterson, Mrs. Glen B. Gunderson of Salt Lake City. Miss Helen Madsen was accompanist ac-companist and rendered several piano solos. Professor Bardell Larsen Lar-sen also rendered piano solos Readings were given by Mr. Earl Clark of Salt Lake City and by Briant Jacobs who also played his violin. More than two hundred people participated in the evenings pleasures. pleas-ures. There were out of town guests from Ephraim, Union, Price and Salt Lake City. The marriage took place November Novem-ber seventh in the Salt Lake Temple, after which a wedding breakfast was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen B. Gunderson Gunder-son to a host of relatives and friends. Many beautiful and valuable gifts were received at both parties. The popular young couple will leave soon on their noneymoon, after which they will make their home in Salt Lake City. Mr. Larsen Lar-sen is employed by the Utah Power &; Light Company which position he has held for several years. |
