Show Sanpete G. 0. P. Sets Date for Convention A meeting of the Sanpete County Republican committee was held Monday in the court house at Manti, Man-ti, with J. Lawrence Lowry of Manti, chairman, in .'charge. The date for the county convention conven-tion was set for September 25, at 10 a. m. at Gunnison. The basis of representation at the county convention wil be one delegate dele-gate for each 50 Hoover votes in the 1923 election, as follows: Indianola 1; Milbum, 1; Fairview 6; Mt. Pleasant 12; Spring City 5; Ephraim Eph-raim 11; Manti 10; Sterling 2; May-field May-field 2; Gunnison 5; Centerfield 2; Axtell 1; Fayette 2; Chester 1; Wales 2; Moroni 4; Fountain Green 0. Making a total of 73 delegates for the county convention. The delegates to attend the state convention to be held September 15 were appointed one to each 15J Hoover votes as follows; Indianola 0; Milbum 0; Fairview 2; Mt. Pleasant 4; Spring City 2; Ephraim 4; Manti 3; Sterling 1; Mayfield 1; Gunnison 2; Centerfield 0; Axtel 1; Fayette 1; Chester 0; Wales 1; Fountain Green 2; Moroni Mor-oni 1. A total of 25 delegates will go to the state convention. |
