Gam of Salt Lake and Mrs. C. P. Olson of Payson. The following were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Turpin: Mrs. Sarah Bigelow, Nellie Starr, Miss Carrie Bieglow, all of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Howell, and Mr. and Mrs. Antony Tucker were guests ci Mrs. Bessie Cheney. Mr. and Mrs. George Olsen announce an-nounce the arrival of a baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Vein Jensen announce an-nounce the arrival of a baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Barker announce an-nounce the birth of a baby girl. Mr. and Mrs. Amelius Christensen of Minneapolis, Minnesota, are Fairview visitors. Mr. Glen Miner and Miss Tla Miner were visitors in Salt Latce Cit last week. Glen left Monday for Thatcher, Arizona, where he will teach in the Gila College the coming winter. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hales of Salt Lake City were Fairview visitors during the week. Mrs. Dwight Candland and Mrs. Harold Swan entertained at a handkerchief shower and bridge Wednesdsay evening complimenting Miss Beth Candland, a September bride. The guests were seated at small tables which were centered with crystal baskets of red and white sweet peas. Garden flowers of bright colors were used for decorations dec-orations in the living rooms. First prize was won by Miss Cleone Las-son Las-son and consolation by Miss Hilda Peterson. Twenty guests enjoyed the evening. Mrs. J. J. Willliams and son Jack of Lomita, California, are guests at the home of Mrs. Albertine Lasson. Mrs. L. L. Peterson and Miss Cleone Lasson entertained at a beautifully appointed bridge luncheon lunch-eon Thursday afternoon in honor of Mrs. J. J. Williams, rormerly 'or Fairview, now of Lomita, California. The guests were seated at one large and three small tables. The centerpiece cen-terpiece was vientian lace on Chinese Chin-ese grass linen, centered with a silver sil-ver bowl of blue Giant Sultans. First prize was won by Mi's. A. L. Peterson, second by Mrs. Loren Hamilton and consolation by Mrs Stella Oldroyd. Places were marked mark-ed by Mrs. A. D. Christensen, Mrs. R. L. Candland, Mrs. R. L. Christensen, Chris-tensen, Mrs. J. J. Williams, Mrs. C. R. Fahring, Mrs. H. B. Swan, Mrs. Winn Mower, Mrs. Earl Christensen. Christen-sen. Mrs. A. L. Peterson,, Mrs. Carl Suridwall, Mrs. S. B. Rlgby, Mrs. Nellie Allred, Mrs. Stella Oldroyd, and the Misses Beryl Larsen and Vivian Vi-vian Christensen. Mrs. C. R. Fahring and children, Bill and Betty of Helper, were weekend week-end guests at the home of Mrs. Albertina Lasson. Mr. and Mrs. Will Young of Logan Lo-gan spent the past weekend visiting visit-ing Fairview relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Tucker and Mr and Mrs. Valton Tucker were Fairview visitors during the home- Mr and Mrs. Glen Bills nnft family of Salt Lake City are guests of S. D. Bills this week. ' The Misses Dorothy and Fern Rasmussen of Richfield, spent thfc week at Fairview. Mrs Hans Madsen announces the marriage of her daughter Leah to Leland Nielson.
