Show Sanpete Wool Growers Indorse Marketing1 Plan At a well attended meeting ol the heme grown wool producers of Sanpete County held at Ephraim Saturday in the public library building, a unanimous vote was cast in favor of supporting the National Na-tional Wool Marketing Corporation Corpora-tion by signing contracts with, and marketing the wool this year through the Utah Wool Marketing Association. There were 38 men in attendance at the meeting, representing rep-resenting nine communities of the county as follows: Fairview, Mt.. Pleasant, Chester, Ephraim, Manti, Mayfield, Centerfield, Axtell and Clarion. The meeting was called by Ama-sa Ama-sa Rasmussen of the Sanpete Coun-. ty Farm Bureau. O. F. Peel, chairman chair-man of the County Farm Bureau Wool Pool, was chairman of the meeting. President W. H. Harvey of the Utah Wool Growers and J. W. Johnson of Draper and Company Com-pany as well as County Agent C. O. Stott, were present and addressed the meeting After considerable discussion, it was unanimously decided by and with the approval of the County pool selling committee, to allow the local pool committees to dispose of this years wool as they see fit, but still maintain the county pool organization, or-ganization, pending . further developments. |
