Show Swope Points The Way Gerard Swopt, President of the Ceneral Electric Company, recently re-cently appeared hefcre a Senate Committee t outline a universal employment insurance plan to operate op-erate under government super; i-ticn, i-ticn, with corporations and employees em-ployees sharing the costs of the insurance. In addition, ad-dition, the company guarantees work for six months to employees at a minimum of $15 a week The statenmt of Mr. Swope, backed by the effort of his company com-pany to put into practice a sensible sensi-ble rjlfi.ii, is indicative of an awakened awak-ened interest or, the part or many industrial corporations to th fact that executive management has a responsibility tc the huge family of workers collected for labor in such corporations.
