Lyman Seely, who has had employment em-ployment in Idaho for the past two months, returned home this week. A surprise birthday party was arranged by Mrs. N. M. Jensen in honor of Mrs. Sam Johnson last Thursday afternoon. A short program pro-gram was given and a most delightful de-lightful time was spent, after which a hot dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. A H Anderson ol Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. T C. Thompson Jr of Spring City, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T C. Thompson, Thomp-son, Sr. Miss Evelyn Auguson, wno hn:-been hn:-been at Bingham, Utah for the past six weeks, returned this week Mrs. John A. Holman celebrated her 65th birthday anniversary on October 22nd. Twelve guests were presen; and they presented her with a 11 piece tea ser,. The hostess served a hot chicken dinner. din-ner. The Happy Bridgeres club met last Wednesday at the honi'! of Erma Ivory where bridge was played. High core was won by Rebu Anderson and consolation by Devona Growther. Refreshments Refresh-ments were ser.ed. Mr. and Mrs Reed Coilard a'ld baby, who have spent the summer sum-mer at r.lberca, Utah have just moen back lioTie for the winter. Mrs. J. W. Jisckscn of Provo and Miss Phyllis Cook who has employment at Provo, spent Sunday Sun-day with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Coombs of Sait Lake City spent Sunday in our city. Eva Jackson returned home this week from Provo where she has spent the past ten days. She was accompanied home by Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Jacobson of Provo. Among those who hav; been lucky in shooting a deer since the last report are: E. J. Johnson, Herb Gee, Earl Allred, Ernest Robertson, Herb Allred, Lavon Hansen, Glen Hansen, Richard Pearmain, Clarence Oldroyd, E. F. Johnson. Kennedy Seager, Bert Johson, A. G. Anderson, Ed Neilson, Lyman Seely, Dewey Johnson. Newell Johnson, Averil Larsen, Lynn Oldroyd, Fay Johnson, John-son, W. H. Johnson, Sylvan Green and Parley Madsen. The Gloom Busters club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Emma Seely last Monday afternoon. after-noon. Thanksgiving decorations and favors were used and a delicious de-licious hot cnicken dinner was served. Mrs. MiUie Gunderson cf Salt Lake City and Mrs. W. E. Watson of Mt. Pleasant were special guests. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Livingston and baby spent a couple of days this week at Midvale, Utah with Mrs. Livingston's mother. Mr. Arthur Livingston of Spanish Span-ish Fork and Claude Livingston of Idaho spent a couple of days last week in our city with relatives rela-tives and friends. Mrs. Osmond Crowthcr and children spent a couple of dayj in our city while her husband was on the deer hunt.
