SPRING CITY 1 By Special Correspondence I Mrs Paul Kunner nnd bubv daughter, Maurine, of Salt Lakf City spent this week visiting her cousin, Mrs. Earl Jensen, while Mr. Kunner went deer hunting Sixty deer have been brought to town by Spring City hunters Mrs. Osmond Osborne enters tained at a birthday dinner on Ihursday October 22nd. Those present were; Mrs. Rose Olsen, Mrs. Emma Sorensen, Bertha Blaine, Jane Donaldson, Lavina Rcbinson, Flossie Slain, La Vera Blain, Athene Osborne and the hot-tess. Mrs. Earl Jensen was pleasantlv surprised last Monday on he'i birthday anniversary by a number of friends. Refreshments wero served. Miss Nedra Barney hac returned re-turned home from a six weeks visit with relatives in Los Angeles The Misses Pearl Blain and Delia Rasmussen have come home from Salt Lake City. They will attend the North Sanpete High School .this winter. Mr. Askel Tullegren of Idaho is a guest of his sister, Mrs. Lena Bradley in our city, Mrs. Margaret Christianson has returned from Salt Lake City where she visited her daughter, Mrs. DeLors Blain, a couple of months. Mrs. Lydia Puzey and Mrs. Sarah Clausen have also come heme after visits in the capital city. Mrs. Nephi Proops and children of Midway were guests a few days cf her mother, Mrs. Simen T. Beck. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dye have returned home after spending thy summer in Idaho. Clara Strate Larsen, wife of Bryant Larsen, died Sunday from pnuemonia at their home in Delta She was born in Spring City October 2, 1897. She is the daughter of C. H. and Mary Francis Fran-cis Accord Strate. She married Bryant Larsen in 1915 and lived in Spring City until 1923 when the family moved to Delta. Surviving Sur-viving are her husband, two sens and two daughters, Francis, LeOri Russel and Ecith Larsen of Delta; Del-ta; her father and two brothers, Abraham Strate of Columbia Fred C. Strate of Prcvo; three sisters, Mrs. F. F. Benson, Mrs Aaron Brough and Mrs. William J.- Baxter of Spring City. Funeral services were held at 2 pm. on Wednesday in the Spring City Ward chapel for Clara Strate Larsen. Bishop James F. Ellis presided. Music was by the ward choir under the direction of Ernest Terry, with a special duet by Mrs. Rose Scho-aeJd Scho-aeJd and Mr. Terry Mrs. Esay of the Abraham Ward, Delta Stake read a piece written by the primary officers in that stake where Mrs. Larsen worked as a primary president.
