Show "l I" FOUNTAIN GREEN By Special Correspondence Mrs. Lena Livingston returned last week from a Salt Lake hospital hos-pital where she accompanied her sister, Mrs. Mary Jackson of Nephi, Ne-phi, who was operated on for goitre. Mrs. Jackson is reported to be doing as well as possible. Miss Delia Robertson, Mrs. Le-ora Le-ora Sorenson and E. J. Johnson left Saturday for a trip to California. Cali-fornia. They went by way of Bryce Canyon and will return by way of San Francisco. Phares Nielson left Tuesday for California where he expects to remain re-main indefinitely. The 24th of July celebration here was a very successful one. An excellent program was rendered at 10 o'clock a. m., also a base ball game in the afternoon between be-tween Wales and Fountain Green, the latter being the winner as the score was 12 to 24. A children's dance was given in. Greenona at 6:30, which was followed by a dance for the public. C. S. Augason with his family left Wednesday for Bryces and Grand Canyons where- they expect to spend the coming week. Joseph F. Livingston of Salt Lake spent July 24th in this city. He returned home the following day accompanied by Ed. N. Robertson Rob-ertson and George E. Coombs. Mrs. Fred Fahrin of Lark, Utah returned home Wednesday after a few days visit with Mr. and Mrs. George Coombs. Mrs. Rachel Aagard and Joy Aagard of Provo are spending a few days with relatives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Holman and Ray and Edghill Oldroyd returned home this week from their sheep ranch in Wyoming. Miss Rozella Anderson spent the 24th of July at Moroni, and Mrs. E. W. Nelson and William Swen-sen Swen-sen of Moroni spent Sunday at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Lund of Salt Lake enjoyed a short visit this week with Mr. and Mrs. Niels Lund. Mrs. Matthias Allred and children chil-dren are in Provo this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jacobson. Mr. Homer C. Olson of Monroe was the guest of Ercel Shurtz on juiy tn. Mrs. Mary A. Mikkelsen entertained enter-tained friends and relatives at her home in honor of her 56th birthday birth-day anniversary Wednesday, July 20. Dinner was served to thirty-three thirty-three guests: nine of her ten children chil-dren being present. Guests from out of town included: includ-ed: Mr. and Mrs. Peter Christensen Christen-sen and daughter, Mrs. Demome Anderson and family of Ephraim; Mr and Mrs. Arthur Tranter and son, and Miss Florence Kendall ol Nephi; and Mrs. Ace W. Blackham Black-ham and daughter of Moroni. |
