C. gave a lecture on Home Economics to the ladies of the Fairview Farm Bureau, Thursday. Nutrition and diet weie. the special subjects treated. The Lions held a special meeting and banquet Thursday. Their meeting meet-ing included the discussion and adoption adop-tion of a constitution and by-laws. Mr H. M. Rasmussen was chairman of the committee that prepared them. Beginning January 10th Fairview is receiving truck service from the Deser-et Deser-et News; thus they receive the paper the same day that it is printed Mr. Francis Rasmussen is the official carrier car-rier He has several boys meet him (is he enters the city and in forty-five minutes all papers are delivered. Mr. H. G. Snyder of Richfield is responsicie for this change of service. The South Ward Relief Society was reorganized at their regular meewnt Tuesday. Mrs. Handsena Larsen and counselors Elisabeth Anderson and Ser-illa Ser-illa Cox were released, as were also Mrs. Delta Nielson, Mrs. Geneva Larsen Lar-sen and Mrs. Mary Larsen. Mrs Hannah Tucker was sustained as president, with Mrs. Mary K. Howell How-ell and Mrs. Lola Tucker, counselors; Mrs. Matilda Peterson, secretary-treasurer; Mrs. Hortense Lassen, assistant. Mrs.' Oleah Cox, chorister; Mrs. Jessie Sundwall, organist: Mrs. Minnie. Clark, assistant organist. . . The North Ward dramatic company will present the comedy drama "Pals" at- the opera house, Friday. The cast includes, Nelden Young, Don Hansen, Glen Graham, Herman Sanderson, Ivan Sanderson,. Mrs. Cleston Rigby, Miss Nellie Sundwall, Miss Clea Tucker ! Golden Carlston, Reed Barker and Waldo Ollerton. The play is under the I auspices of the M. I. A. of the .
