Show Condition Of State Roads The Utah State Road Commission gives out the following report on condition of stale roads, as of November No-vember 28th, 1930. Condition on U. S. numbered system and State numbered laterals and connections: Main roads open. General condition, con-dition, ice on roads. Go slow at curves, especially on canyon roads. Laterals closed account snow: Logan-Garden City, Cedar City . via Cedar Breaks, Ephraim-Castle Dale. Fairvicw-Huntington, Veinal-Man-ila. U. S. 30-S. Wyoming line Evan-f-ton via Ogden and Tremonton to Idaho lie (Strevell) 176 miles. State lie to Emory 20 miles, gravel and 11 miles oiled gravel to Echo, good condition, Echo to Devils Slide 10 miles gravel, good. Thence oiled gravel 5 mi. to Morgan. Morgan Mor-gan to Ogden 24 milej oiled cr paved. Ogden to Brigham paved 22 miles, thence to Tremonton paved or oiled 20 miles. Thence gravel, good, 36 miles to Snowville; thence gravel 25 miles to Idaho line in good condition, short detour lor construction of Curlew Creek bridge. Laterals V-3. State line north oi Evanston, Wyoming, via Randolph to Bear Lake and Idaho line, 57 miles, all gravel surface. State line to Woodruff 10 miles; to Lake-town Lake-town 32 miles', Laketown to Idaho line 15 miles, all in fair to Rood condition, from Junction at Sage east to Wyoming line, gravel, good, 6 to 8 Inches snow over U-3. U-41. Tremonton via Garland to Idaho line, 22 miles, paved to Garland Gar-land 2 miles; thence oil 1 mile and gravel 1!) miles to line, fair. U. S. 40. Colorado line via Vernal and Salt Lake to Nevada line at Wendover, 344 miles. State lino tj Vernal earth road 36 miles, good; thence gravel to Fruitland 86 miles good; Fruitland to Heber gravel 32 miles and graded 16 miles, g'-.od condition except about 2 miles construction and rough in lower Daniel's Canyon. Thence oiled gravel 18 miles to Park City; thence 10 miles oiled gravel to summit. Thence in Parleys Canyon gravel i miles and oiled gravel or pavement pave-ment 13 miles to Salt Lake City. Salt Lake to Mills Junction paved 27 miles; thence gravel with some oiled sections 61 miles to Knolls, fair; thence gravel, fair, 41 miles to Wendover. Ice on road over summits between Salt Lake and I'rUitland, chains advisable. Lateral U-44. Vernal to Manila, G6 miles unimproved mountain road sharp curves and steep grades, rinsed account snow. IT. Valley City via Moab and Mcnticello to Colorado line, 7.06 miles; gravel 10 miles and . graded IS miles to Moab, good; graded 25 miles to LaSal Junction, poor, rough and muddy, slow at washout 2 miles south of Moab; thence gravel 5 miles, graded 21 miles, and gravel 7 miles to Monticello. Monticello to Colorado line 22 miles unimproved. unimprov-ed. LaSal to Monticello and Monticello Mon-ticello to line rough, muddy sections, sec-tions, but frozen until noon. Laterals. U-46. LaSal Junction to Colorado line, 23 miles; unimproved unimprov-ed mountain road, poor condition snow road. 11-47. Monticello via Bluff tc Mexican Hat 79 miles.
