Show SOLDIERS MONUMENT TO BE UNVEILED MAY 30TH. SERVICE SIAI LEGION GIVES FINE PROGRAM Legion Will Give a Dance; Organizations Contribute to Soldiers' Monument Fund. The regular semi-monthly meeting meet-ing ot the Service Star Legion was held at the home of Mrs. Vern S. Winters Wednesday afternoon. The legion will give a dance in 1 the Armory on April 18, the proceeds pro-ceeds to be given to the ' soldier's monument fund. At this dance, the drawing for the statuettes will take place. Recent conributions to the monument fund include Damascus Da-mascus Lodge No. 10, F. and A. M ?50.00; Mt. Pleasant Lodge No. 20, I. O. O. F. -20.00; the Mutual Assd-ciations Assd-ciations of both wards, $15.00. It is planned to have the monument monu-ment unveiled on Memorial Day. |
