Show FIIIl'S OLDEST IM PASSES hM Mrs. Caroline Magnussen, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Will Turpin, April 25th. If she had lived until April 29th. she would have been 9 7 year old. She was a native of Lindesburg Sweden, but has lived in America for over fifty years. Sh.j was the mother of four daughters two of whom survive her Mrs. Emily. Clv.-istopherson, of Wendell Idaho, and Mrs. Will Turpin of Fairview. Fmneral .services, were held at Palrview April 27. in the North ward chapel, with Bishop Graham presid-OiR. presid-OiR. Music was hy the ward choir vith Jesse L. Young as leader. A quartette was given by Mrs. Geneva Larsen, and company. The speakers were Fired Danielson, Henry Jones and Wm. Rigby, all of whom spoke well of her life and labors. Prayers were by, Jordan Brady, and Alma Young. Interment was in the Fair-view Fair-view cemetary where Jewel Peterson dedicated the grave. Mrs. Magnussen was born April, 29, 1 830. She'married Carl Magnussen Magnus-sen in Sweden in 1855. They came to Utah in 1877, settling at Fairview Mt. Magnussen, died ninteen years ago. She leaves besides her two daughters 14 grand children, 20 great grand children, and 1 great groat grand child. |
