Show Mr. Reed Larsen, of Fairview, a former slmdent of the North Sanpete High School, last Wednesday defeated defeat-ed Ned Armstrong of Ephraim, in a race for the secretary and treasurer ot the Snow College, student crganlz-ation crganlz-ation of next year. The other officers elected wore Lew's Allen, president, La Rue Jen-xn, Jen-xn, vice-president, Jennie Sode-rnuist i.nd Horace Ch.nistensen, editors of l the cnllen-e publications. , Miss Ethel Rasmussen ot Mount Ple.isa.it won, third place in the an-'it.al an-'it.al Kmuisen humorous reading con-jl.est con-jl.est April 23. She will be awarded a vol. mm of 'O Henry Sketches" Her selections was "The Mary Month of May" O Henry . First place winner was Thomas Parry of Manti; second place Jay Peterson of Ephraim. Miss Ruth Nielsen, and Miss Nelda Housekeeper tied for second place in an original short story contest, I held as a feature, of Snow College Girls Day" Miss Mary Hatch of Scipio won first -place H.
