Show BISnnBHHHIiH B ECHHIWiaHillilBS The biggest social function of the week was the dinner party given by Mr. and Mrs. Hazzard Wilcox Saturday, Sat-urday, in honor of Mr. Wilcox's 7 0th birthday anniversary. Mr. Wilcox was presented with an "elegant gold watch and chain, by his children. Ha also - received numerous other gifts. The guests were Capt. and Mrs. James Westwood of Spring-ville, Spring-ville, Utah, Mrs. Clarissa Meiling of Payson, Mrs. Kate Ney and daughters daugh-ters Cecil and Arba of Salt Lake City Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mills of Fair-view, Fair-view, Bert Wilcox of Castle Gate, Mrs. James Reynolds of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Bills of Milburn. Mr. and Mrs. John Reynolds Afr. anrl Mrs. Webley Wilcox, Mr. and Mis. Christain Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Freston. Mrs. Miranda Oman, Miss Lynn Freston, Crystal and Clnrence Wilcox Mrs. Nay and the host and hostess. The family was all here except James H. Wilcox, who is at Lander, Wyoming and Roy at Castle Gate. Mr. Wilcox has l'ved on the farm North of the city for about forty years. Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Frandsen of Gunnison visited relatives in Mt. Pleasant this week. James B. Reynolds left Tuesday ror Blackfoot. Idaho where he will o'-k in a meat market. Virs. James Draper went to Salt l ake City Tuesday to receive medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Christensen of Moroni went to Salt Lake City yesterday to visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hasler of Salina are guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Olson this week. Mrs. John Hasler came home Tuesday from Provo where she has been visiting with her son, Dr. Walter Walt-er Hasler. G. R. Neilson, Aaron Neilson and Pearley Johnson returned home Tuesday from Salt Lake City. N. G. Stringham and John String-ham String-ham of the People's Sugar Company are in Sanpete this week incourag-ing incourag-ing the farmers to grow more beets. Farrel La-rsen has just sent a small aligator from Florida to his brother, Croft Larsen in this city. The little animal was on the way for six days but is still alive. Mrs. Amasa Aldrich. Mr. and Mrs. Will Anderson, Miss Eva Ericksen and Miss Nathella Anderson were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Freston Monday evening.
