Show THREE MORE RETURN MASON N. BURNSIDE HIE FROM CAMPS HOME FROM FRANCE Ormus Nay, son of Mrs. John Nay of this city, returned home Tuesday from Camp Funston. He left here on July 25th and went to Camp Lewis for training. During the seven months he has been away lie has been at five different camps. After leaving Camp Lewis he went to Camp Fremont, Fre-mont, California, theri to Camp Mills, N. Y., later to Camp Lee, Virginia and then to camp Funston. He was a member of Company C, 62nd Infantry, Infan-try, in the 8th division. Dudley Rowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Con Rowe of this city, also returned home last Tuesday in company with Mr. Nay. He left here on the 26th of August and went through the same training at the same camps with Mr. Nay. The two young men got to New York and rolled up their packs four different times for a voyage across the mighty deep, but each time they were disappointed. They both returned home looking well. Roy L. Malmsten, former manager of the J. C. Penney Company store in 'in this city, arrived at Mt. Pleasant Wednesday after bein in the service for more than a year and a half. Mr. Malmsten w'as a member of the 4 2nd Infantry band. He never had the previtege of going overseas. At present pres-ent Mr. Malmsten is visiting with relatives re-latives at Richfield. |
