Show FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. HUNCIKER Funeral services were held Tuesday Tues-day afternoon May, 31st. in the South Ward Chapel over the remains of Mrs. Maria Hunciker, age 82 years, who died In this city Sunday, May 30th. after several months illness. ill-ness. Elder Mads Anderson presided. The opening prayer was offered by Elder II. P. Olsen. The choir sang "Home Sweet Home," "I Need Thee Every Hour" and .Till We Meet Again." The speakers were Pres. A. Merz, Elder Mads Anderson, and Elder Chris. Johansen. Elder Mads Anderson closed the services by' prayer and 'dedicated the grave at the City Cemetery. Mrs. Hunciker was born in Wurt-itenberg, Wurt-itenberg, Germany. She and her husband, Rudolph Hunciker came to America in 1884. They have made Mount Pleasant their home since that time. Her husband preceeded her to the grave some years ago. Those who came . from out of town to attend the services were Mrs. Jacob Naef Roy Naef and Miss Vera Naef, all o'f Eureka. |
