Show beR The Big Tent goes up tomorrow' (Saturday) on the lot just South of the library. Everything will be in readiness and the first program of Mt. Pleasant's best Chautauqua will open at 3:30 p. m., the hour of opening open-ing the program having been changed chang-ed to three-thirty in order to give all who attund church an opportunity oppor-tunity to afterwards hear the Old Fashioned GSrls in their splendid program of readings, stories, instrumental instru-mental solos and the old songs we all love. The big season ticket drive mentioned men-tioned in last week's issue is being made today and early reports are that tlve sellers are meeting with encouragement, however much work is yet to be done and many who should have purchased tickets have not yet been sold. There will be a meeting of the ticket committee tonight to-night at which time a complete survey sur-vey of the work already done will be made and tomorrow an effort will be made to canvas all those who have not yet purchased. Mrs. Johnston, chairman of the Junior Play ground committee, was up from Spring City and stated that .the Wasatch Academy grounds had been obtained for the playground work and that everything wou,ld be in readiness. Ellison-White is giving giv-ing more attention to this phase of the work this year and every child in the community should take advantage ad-vantage of the work. Chautauqua has grown, in Mount Pleasant from year to year and it is nothing more than natural that we should have our best program this year. The Ellison-White man states that this is a fact. Let's not mis6 it. |
