Show CONFERENCE IS WELL ATTENDED Quarterly Conference was held at Fountain Green lasl Saturday and Sunday with Elder Rudger Clawaon of the Quorum of Twelve, the Stake Presidency and a large number of the Priesthod in attendance. The Priesthood and Officers meeting meet-ing was held Saturday morning with a very good attendance. Elder Claw-son Claw-son was the principal speaker taking for his subject the condition of the world and our boys in the army. The Religion Class Conference con-veined con-veined Sunday morning with a good representation present. Sunday afternoon was the largest attended meeting of the conference. There were 782 people who filled the little chapel to its capacity. Outside ' was parked 81 cars. The opening song "The Morning Breaks the Shadows Flee" was well rendered by the Foutnin Green choir Prayer was offered by Bishop Samuel A 11 red of Spring City. An anthem "Praise Ye The Lord" was rendered by the ward choir under the direction of R. M. Oldroyd. Elder Daniel rRasmussen presented the General Church Authorities which were sustained sus-tained by all present. LeRoy Robertson rendered a violin solo and was accompanied by his sister, sis-ter, Wanda. President Merz gave an eloquent address. He appreciated very much the large attendance of the Priesthood and specially to good representation of the Seventies. He said the Kail season was upon us and he urged every organization to put their soul In the work. And with an appeal to the people to magnify their opportunity op-portunity he closed his remarks. Bishop Oldroyd sang "Sego Lilly." Elder Rudger Claw-son spoke upon home life, rearing of children and of the taking of this home. 1 i f o into the. army life.
