Show MOROXT. Born to Mrs. John H. Hardy, a boy, April 22. Mrs. Kline Spell of Ruth, Nevada, is at Moroni visiting relatives. The U. B. S. O. D. H. spent a pleasant pleas-ant evening Wednesday with Miss Melba Christensen at a quilting bee. Born to Mrs. Lon Clark, nee Miss Blanche Redmond, a baby boy, April 20. Miss Agneta .Christensen went to Salt Lake City Sunday after a week at homo. Miss Gladys Stark entertained Miss Grace Bonwell of the Glen L. Crawford Craw-ford Dramatic Co., and Miss Melba ChriHtenseu Tuesday at dinner. Miss Laura Bradley, who is a supervising sup-ervising nurse at the L. D. S. hospital, hos-pital, came home Friday for a week's visit. Misses Bird Conley and Margaret Boulton were house guests at the home of Miss Edda Sumsion at Chester Ches-ter on Tuesday. The High School Dramatic club has a new play, "Our Jim," ready for presentation some time next week. Miss Conley's coaching has always proven to be very efficient, and everyone ev-eryone anticipates a treat. Pearl, the 9-ycar-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bniley, died April 24, after a severe attack of dlptherla. She had been sick only a few days but was unable to recover from the dreaded disease. An Interesting program was rendered ren-dered at High School devotional on Wednesday as follows: violin solo, Daraln Sorenson; reading, Carmen Johnson and Wyroa Dispain; class song, ninth grade girls; talk urging the buying of another Liberty bond by the student body, Merril Faux. The student body has already subscribed sub-scribed to the Third Liberty loan for J60 and also the grade school. |
