The true life is the life of sacrifice. Some of us have given our sons, some their brothers, some wives have given their hunsbaiids. to go forth in the cause of liberty, for all mankind. 1 hope that under such conditions that no one will withhold his, or her material ma-terial support, but that one and all will, to the utmost of their ability, support our boys that have gone forth to fight our battles for us. What is our sacrifice in comparison with theirs? As far as the bonds are concerned, con-cerned, we get the best security in the world, and while it may be inconvenient incon-venient for some of us to get the money to buy bonds with, it is a small matter in comparison to what our boys are doing. I. take it for granted that none of us would for a moment justify a cold-blooded murder, mur-der, and yet if we withhold our support sup-port from the boys in the trenches we are becoming parties to their murder. mur-der. To avoid this horrible calamity, let us do our full duly to Ihem us they are doing their duty (o us. It is your duty and mine to report to our committee anyone that shirks and is a slacker, and his name will be given to the Federal Agent, and also published in our home newspaper, that everybody will know. We all must be for the government firat, lust and all the time. General Haig said, -with our back to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each of lis must fight to the end.' The safety of our homes and the freedom of mankind depends: alike upon the conduct of each one of us at this critical moment. mo-ment. My friends.
