Show MOROXI. Andrew Anderson, E. D. Anderson, and Fred Anderson were Salt Lake visitors the fore part of the week. Elmo Irons was a business visitor at Salt Lake City last week. Ivan Sparks of Ephraim is visiting in this city, the guest of Miss Dora Daniels. June Sparks of Ephrajm visited here Friday and Saturday of last week. 'Miss Louise Faux left Thursday for Salt Lake City to remain indefinitely. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Simpson of Mt. Pleasant are visiting in this city. Mrs. Gilbert Bailey and children of Nephi are visiting friends and relatives rela-tives here this week . Mrs.-Ray Blackham and sons, Paul 1 and Howard are visiting at Manti this week. Martin Bradley was a business visitor at Salt Lake the later part of last week. Andreas Sorensen came home from Idaho Saturday to remain a short time with his family. Andrew Anderson of Idaho, Mrs. Alvie Frandsen and Mrs. Willard Drage were called to Moroni last week on accouni of the illness of their father. Announcement is made of the marriage mar-riage of Miss Nida Hales and Ottis IBradley, both popular young people of Moroni. The marriage took place Wednesday, March 12 in the Manti Temple. Miss Nida Hales was the recipient of a bundle shower given in her honor hon-or at her home Monday evening. About forty guests were present. Mrs. Rodney Anderson entertained last Friday afternoon in honor of her little daughter, Maxine's fourth birth- day anniversary. Games were the chief amusement after which a dainty luncheon was served to about 25 little lit-tle guests. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anderson entertained en-tertained at dinner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. John Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Anderson, and N. P. Sorensen. Soren-sen. Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Anderson entertained enter-tained Friday evening at a progressive progress-ive High Five party. Later in the evening a delicious luncheon was served ser-ved to about twenty, guests. Mrs. Ray Anderson entertained at a kensington Tuesday anernoon tor about ten ladies. Mr. and Mrs. Amos Draper were very pleasantly surprised last Tuesday Tues-day evening by their children in honor hon-or of Mr. Draper's birthday anniversary. annivers-ary. He was presented with a number num-ber of fine gifts. Games and music were the main features of the evenings even-ings entertainment, after which refreshments re-freshments were served to about 18 guests. A supper was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Blackham on Friday evening of last week by Mrs. Blackham and Mrs. Evan Crawforth in honor of their brother, Clyde Draper, Dra-per, who recently returned from Camp Lee, Virginia. Covers were laid for thirty. |
