Show NEW RED CROSS CALL. The Red Cross is to gather another big shipment of used clothing for the relief of the people of the devasted areas of Europe. The whole amount to be gathered is 10,000 tons, and the allotment for the Mountain Di-vision is 300 tons. This is a lot of clothes, but a perfectly possible amount to gather if each family looks over the accumulations of closets, old chests and attics. The clothing contributed do not need to be in perfect repair, for that is a work that can be done across the seas, for many thousand destitute women in the regions recently occupied oc-cupied by the Central Powers are eager to earn a small livlihood by repairing gift clothing and making new garments from the material furnished. Infants' Wear Baby blankets, baby shirts, jackets, sweaters, bonnets, bon-nets, bibs, diapers, shoes, socks, binders, bind-ers, baby dresses, shawls, bootees. Miscellaneous Bod ticks. bed sheets, pillow cases., blankets, mufflers. muff-lers. Woolen goods of any kind whatsoever what-soever are acceptable, soft hats and caps for all ages, sweaters of any kind and size. Men's shirts and pajamas, so worn or shrunken as no longer to bn serviceable ser-viceable are particularly welcome, since the material can be utilized for making children's garments.
