Mrs. C. L. Stewart entertained the .Twentieth Century club Thursday af-j af-j lernoon. Mrs. H. C. Jacobs read, ."The Melting Pot," continued, and selections from the "Club Collect" iwere read by Miss Annie Johansen. I Mrs. J. Music and games were the amusement features of the evening even-ing after which a dainty luncheon was" served. A very elaborate dinner party was given Saturday evening by Mrs. M. C. Petersen complimentary to her father, fa-ther, President C. N. Petersen. j Mrs. A. G. Nelson celebrated her sixty-first birthday anniversary at her home in this city Thursday evening, January 18, 1917. A sumptuous family fam-ily dinner was served at the Nelson home. There were present Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Winters, Mrs. William.Mat-son, William.Mat-son, Mr. and Mrs. Alif Ericksen of Alberta, Canada, Mrs. Mary O. Madsen, Mad-sen, Mrs. C. W. Anderson, Miss Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Winters, Miss Fern Matson, Miss Delia Nelson, Obed Nelson, Burke McArthur and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Nelson. Mrs. W. G. Wagstaff was hostess at a most enjoyable kensington and luncheon at her home Thursday afternoon. aft-ernoon.
