When Interplanted in cherry orchards or-chards gooseberries and currants may be left for several years, according tc the growth of the orchard and the size of the bushes; nnd in apple and peal orchards they may be left somewhat longer, though the ground occupied should be restricted to one or twe rows of bushes through (he center ol the space between the tree rows.
