Show ACCIDENTS Mrs. William Hansen of this city had the misfortune of breaking her arm Wednesday evening while running run-ning away from the family cow in the yard. The animal knocked Mrs. Hansen down and upon trying to escape the second time Mrs. Hansen fell on her arm and sustained two breaks near the elbow. John Olsen o f Indianola cut his foot with an ax and had Dr. Winters remove two of his toes as a result of the seriousness of the cut. Mrs. William Peterson of Spring City fell on the ice Thursday morning morn-ing and broke one of her legs and dislocated her hip. dislocated hir hip. A nine year old girl of Vance All-red All-red of Chester fell out of swing this week and cut a bad hole in the top of her head. Dr. Winters put eight or nine stitches in the wound. .. Bert Burns, son of Milton Burns, broke his finger this week and is troubled with infection. |
