Show ANNUAL ENTERTAINMENT ' GIN EN IN HONOR OF OLD PEOPLE The annual entertainment given Wendesday of this week at the Armory Hall for the old people of Mount Pleasant was greatly appreciated appreci-ated by the honored guests. It has been the custom of the good citizens of our splendid community to make the older people feel that they were indeed appreciated, and the noble work they did in laying the foundation found-ation of our city will 1 or, i: be remembered re-membered by the present generation. There were one hundred eighty-six eighty-six honored guests at the party. Of these two were over 90 yen's of ag;'. Mr. and Mrs. John Knudseu were ilie two oldest people present. Eaih 'one being 91 years of age. Seven of the guests were more than 80 years of age. forty-one were over 7 0 years, and eighty-six had passed the age of 60 years. Fifty of the honored guests were under 6 0 years, j Among the honored ones were 62 widows, 13 widowers and one niis-sionarj's niis-sionarj's wife. During the banquet 303 peoplo j were sealed at the tables. Following the banquet the splen-j splen-j did program was carried out with Capt. Thomas Drahy, mayor of the city, acting as Master of Cer-iimn ies , Then the guests were entertained by the Elite Theatre at a good pic-' pic-' tore show. ' In the evening a dancing party was j enjoyed at the Armory. Hull. The general committee, in charge of the entertainment appreciate the assistance of the other committors' i in all that was done to make the day a. pleasant one for the old p-uole.
