Show FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. OSMOND JUSTESEN Funeral services were held at the tabernacle Friday afternoon for Mrs. Ellen Marinda Justesen, wife of Osmon Os-mon Justesen of Grantsville, formerly former-ly of Spring Ciy. Mrs. Justesen's death resulted from an operation performed per-formed at a Salt Lake hospital a day or two previous to her death. She was 4 0 years of age. A husband and seven children survive her. Her parents, Mr.! and Mrs. J. F. Allred, and Mr. Justesen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Justesen, are air residents resi-dents of this city. The remains were brought here on the train Wednesday, Wednes-day, March 14, and the following funeral fun-eral services held Friday, March 16: Opening song, "I Know that my Redeemer Re-deemer Lives," Miss Libbie Acord and choir; invocation, Peter Soren-sen; Soren-sen; solo, "Resignation," J. W. McAllister Mc-Allister of the Grantsville High School. J. U. Hicks, superintendent of the Grantsville schools, James W. Anderson, . Bishop of Grantsville, Mayor J. P. Johnson, John S. Blain, Principal of public schools James W. Blain, Superintendent of North Sanpete High Schools James W. An-lerson, An-lerson, and Bishop Samuel Allred, were the speakers. A duet was sung by Miss Lola Backman and J. W. Mc-vilister, Mc-vilister, "Teach Me to Pray"; a quar. fet, "Lead Me Gently Home Father," vas sung by Miss Libby Acord and others, and the closing song by the hoir was "Nearer My God to Thee.. The benediction was pronounced by T. R. Baxter, Sr. The great profusion if flowers spoke of the high esteem in which the departed one was held by relatives and friends. Interment vaa made in the Spring City Cemetery. Ceme-tery. Miss Torza Justesen and Miss Lois Mired, who are attending school at Mount Pleasant spent the week end with their parents at home in Spring City. |
