Show JACOB HAfEN RESPONDS TO FINAL SUMMONS Jacob Hafen died of general debility de-bility Thursday evening at 9 o'clock, Mar. 22, at his home in this city. Mr. Hafen was born in Switzerland, February Feb-ruary 16, 1836. He became a member mem-ber of the L. D. S. church in 1860 and emmigrated to Utah in 1861. He was an energetic member of the church and performed much missionary mission-ary work. Mr. Hafen is survived by two widows, wid-ows, Mrs. Katherine Hafen and Mrs. Rosetta Hafen, also eight children, Mrs. Chris Rasmussen, Mrs. Hyrum Bramstead, Mrs. John H. Hansen and Wilford Hafen of Mount Pleasant and Mrs. Franklin Hansen of Moroni, William, Emil and Jacob Hafen, Mrs. Herman Beck, Mrs. Bruce Seely and Mrs. J. Johansen, all of Mount Pleasant. Funeral services will be held at the North Ward chapel Sunday, March 25 at 1 o'clock. |
