Show t Miss Dorthy Jacobs was hostess , 1 at a delightful rose luncheon at the i r home of her parents, Bishop and f Mrs. H. C. Jacobs, Tuesday afternoon i IThe affair was arranged in honor of her cousin Miss. Irene Cannon of Salt Lake, and Miss Bernice Madseu who has been a student at the state university the past winter. The luncheon table was centered with a low crystal bowl of La France roses and a line of rose petals extended from each plate to the centerpiece. The candle shades were in rose as .were the nut cups and confections and the place cards held tiny rose buds as favors. After the luncheon a program of musical numbers and and readings was rendered by the Misses Winona and Louise Cherry. Oleah Wall, Helen Candland, Amber Hanfortl, Oneta Reesa an'd Irene Cannon. The list of guests included in-cluded the Misses Irene Cannon of Salt Lake, Bernice Madsen, Oneta Reese of Nephi, Miriam Mc Gahen of Salt Lake, Amber. Hauford, Berenice Larsen, Winona Cherry, Helen Candland, Cand-land, Lena Madsen, Louise Cherry, Oleah Wall, Myrle Aldrich and La Von Lund. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Locke have as their guest, Mr. Locke's mother. Mrs. j John W. Locke of Erie, Kansas. Mrs. Frank Jones entertained ai dinner Thursday in honor of her sister, Mrs. Sherman Allred of Salt Lake. Covers were placed foi fifteen. The O. S. A. Club members were guests of Mrs. S. D. Longsdorf at a Kensington and luncheon Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon. |
