Show Mrs. Boon Brothorson was hostess host-ess at a surprise sn wer at her home Thursday afternoon in honor of Miss Tressa Larsen whose marriage takes placv in June. The surprise was two beautiful persian rugs and one dozen doz-en Mjnog a n?l towels whicii w;re presented to the guest of honor. An unusual un q ie and delicious lun cheon was served. The flowjrsusd in the parlor and dinninr room were pansies and narcissus. The invited guests were:' Tressa Larson, M Js-dames, Js-dames, J. W. Annand. C. H. Djn halter, A. L. Stout, M. H. Landbertf Andrew Knudsen, A. L. Lirsen, Lydia Winters, Chris Brothers, Frank Madsen, Hannah Barnett, James Synderiraard, H. C. M -rz, Miss Hortense Synder aar Miss Annie Johansen, Mrs. R. A. Broa 1 hurst and the hostess. An unusually unusual-ly pleasant afternoon was enjoyed. Dean Neilson entertained at a birthday party at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Niel- son, Tuesday, afternoon. About twenty little guests were present and the afternooi, spent in enjoying games and delicious refreshments. The 0. N. 0. girls were the guests of the Misses Dale and Elda Havenor, Thursday evening. Mrs. M. H. Lundberg was hostess at a parcel shower at her home Saturday Sat-urday evening, in compliment to Miss Tressa Larsen. The evening was pleasantly spent in sewing, and enjoying splendid music. An excellent ex-cellent two course luncheon was served. Apple blossoms were th' flowers used in the, dinning room and parlor. A gr -at manv useful and beautiful articles including cut glass, china, stlvtr and linen were presented to the guest of nonor. Mrs. Hilda Larsen was given a very unusual and pleasant surprise at her home Monday afternoon. The affair was in honor of her thirty ninth birthday, materials for three quilts were contributed, and made during the afternoon which were presented to Mrs. Larsen. A splendid dinner was served. ' Spr.ng City then back to Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant and north to Fairview and re- turned then at 8 o'clock to the Hih I S tiool Du.lding.
